Gemini South will be closed March 25 through April 4, to replace some essential elements of the secondary mirror control system that are failing. These parts were replaced on Gemini North previously. The installation of FLAMINGOS-2 and its first re-commissioning run are now planned for April. The updated schedule is posted at http://www.gemini.edu/metrics/gs2013Aoverview.html.
