OT Release Notes: Cherry

The Cherry version of the Observing Tool was publicly
released on 20 June 2004. Summarised below are the most significant changes
from the previous public release (Wimbledon).
- Modified instrument components and iterators
- Expanded GNIRS component and iterator based on commissioning experience:
updated readout modes, disperser options and acquisition features
- Added spectroscopy support to Michelle component and iterator; updated
filter names
- Updated offset iterator for AOWFS support
- Added electronic offset option to GMOS nod-and-shuffle components,
enabling enhanced observing efficiency
- User interaction and user interface features
- Corrected drawing of T-ReCS and Michelle chop offsets in Position Editor
- Added semester filter to program chooser (on-site use)
- Added airmass to elevation plots
- Enabled overlay of parallactic angle on elevation plots
- Enable search in OT browser by PI, NGO or Contact Scientist name
(e-mail) and reporting of DTA-X offset
- Improved proxy server support
